ART WE’VE SEEN
-
No Wonder at WNDR-Chicago
ArtNomads’ review of WNDR-Chicago, a supposedly “immersive” experience, from September 2023.
-
Yoko Ono’s Exhibition at Tate Modern Changed My Mind
ArtNomads’ review of the Yoko Ono exhibit Music of the Mind, as installed at Tate Modern, 2024. Read to know whether it’s worth your time!
-
Sharjah Biennial 16 – An Art surprise in the desert
We attended the 2024 Sharjah Biennial; after 7 days and well over 1000 pictures, we can say the biennial was a welcome “surprise in the desert”!
Dubai, with its glitzy towers, gets all the press, but it’s Sharjah to the south that appears to have a solid focus on the arts, putting all that oil & gas revenue to good work.

Our Approach to Art, Culture & Travel Coverage
We don’t write from the sidelines. We attend events like Madrid Art Week, Art Basel Miami Beach, and major international exhibitions in person—walking the floors, spending long days with the work, and talking to galleries, curators, and artists along the way.
Our coverage is first-hand, independent, and honest—just informed opinions from people who actually show up, look closely, and share what stood out (and what didn’t).
Many of the fairs we cover require multiple full days on the floor—and we give them that time.
Because we’ve been so inspired by our travels, we’re transitioning this site to an independent cultural travel platform documenting how art, history, creativity, and place intersect.
