Your Insider Guide to Miami Art Week 2025: The OTHER Fairs You Can’t Miss

Miami in December — a place where sunlight, sea breeze, and art (Soooo much art!) converge into a single, electric (frantic?) current.

We’ve already written about how to see & what to expect at the major fairs; but sometimes the best energy (and art) is found at one of the numerous satellite fairs. It’s impossible to see everything; do your homework (we’re here to help) and plan ahead!

Remember, traffic along the Beach and to/from Downtown is usually a snarl, use the free Miami Beach Art Week shuttle or the Biscayne Bay water taxi to hop between Convention Center fairs, Collins Park, and Ocean Drive quickly.

Downtown / Wynwood

NADA (New Art Dealers Alliance)

Dates: Dec. 2-6 Location: Ice Palace Studios

NADA is a tough one.. it’s somewhere between a main fair and a satellite. That is, there’s serious, edgy contemporary art being shown here. It’s not really a stepping-stone fair per se, like so many of the satellites are, though we know several galleries that *did* start here a decade ago and are doing the “big” fairs now. For 2025, it’ll showcase a diverse selection of nearly 140 galleries, art spaces, and nonprofit organizations spanning 30 countries. We’ll probably list this one in both articles. 😉

Red Dot Miami & Spectrum

Dates: Dec 3–7, 2025 · Location: Mana Wynwood
Red Dot celebrates its 20th year with over 75 galleries and 500 artists — a curated experience for those who savor fresh contemporary work. Expect crisp exhibition design, plenty of “I need to remember this moment” pieces that stay with you long after you leave, and a party. ohhhh yes, drinks will be flowing at these two. (not necessarily free, tho)

Spectrum is where independent spirit meets creative accessibility — the fair’s “Discoveries Collection” features works under $3,000, making this a perfect stop for first-time collectors. Wander slowly; the stories behind the art feel as vivid as the work itself.

Note: These two fairs had CRAZY good energy when we last attended in 2023. They’re a great place to discover emerging artists who will likely be at one of the major fairs in a year or two. Case in point: Diane Portwood, who was self-representing in 2023, will be at Scope 2025.

PRIZM Art Fair

Dates: Dec 3–5, 2025 · Location: Miami
PRIZM returns with “The Brighter Side of the Moon,” a theme celebrating resilience and unseen beauty within the African and Afro-diasporic experience. Expect a tight, powerful program of conversations, curated works, and moments that stay with you like a melody.
We stumbled into this very poorly marketed fair in 2023 and were gobsmacked at the quality of the work. No one else was there but us… you need to discover this gem! Which will be tricky, because it’s mostly online, except for a couple special events. See here

Wynwood Walls

This iconic open-air street-art museum spans 35,000+ sq ft and features murals by artists from 21+ countries. As every year, the Walls will debut new large-scale murals and installations, typically with some live-painting onsite.

Here’s what it looked like in 2023; no doubt 2025 will bring MANY changes!

There’s also a gallery onsite, and 2025 will feature a solo exhibition by one of our fave pop/comic-style artists, Sandra Chevrier.

Arte NXT & photoMIAMI

Dates: Dec. 2-7 Location: 2300 N Miami Ave.

We can only quote what the organizers tell us about these, as we’ve never been. Well, ArteNXT is new, and I don’t think we’ve been to photoMIAMI in over a decade. So here we go:

Arte NXT is a new contemporary art fair debuting during Miami Art Week, dedicated to spotlighting emerging and mid-career artists and galleries shaping the future of visual culture.

photoMIAMI returns to Miami Art Week as a leading platform for contemporary photography, celebrating both emerging and established image-makers from around the world.
We don’t have more info, other than you’ll need tickets.

BONUS: HIVE Art Village

Dates: Dec. 4-7 Location: Wynwood Marketplace
One thing is for sure; all this running to see all the art, you’ll get hungry and thirsty. Why not stop by HIVE and take care of that?

What is HIVE? The organizers say it’s an extraordinary fusion of art, music, food, and culinary delights at our one-of-a-kind village in Wynwood. Immerse yourself in a captivating experience that celebrates the synergy between creativity, culture, and gastronomy.
Sounds pretty good to us, and if you hurry, you can get a Free Drink

On The Beach

Satellite Art Fair

Dates: Dec 4–7, 2025 · Location: Geneva Hotel, 1520 Collins Ave, South Beach
Satellite transforms a Miami Beach hotel into a labyrinth of experiments, late-night energy, and artist-driven installations. Never really sure what you’re going to find (and the website isn’t much help) – it’s the fair for wanderers who like to feel slightly off-map — drifting from room to room, never sure what universe you’ll step into next. But it’s affordable. 😉

BitBasel

Dates: Dec 3–7, 2025 · Location: Sagamore Hotel
This year’s theme, “Fingerprints of Humanity,” brings together classical sculpture, blockchain, space tech, and digital dreams under one roof. If you’ve ever wanted to see a Michelangelo re-cast next to a lunar-legacy NFT project… BitBasel is your multiverse. Lots of panel discussions; see MORE Excited to see how this one really turns out!

No Vacancy

Running Nov 13–Dec 20, 2025, No Vacancy turns 12 Miami Beach hotels into art destinations, with 12 site-specific commissions by local artists. This is something to look for while walking along the Collins Ave fairs like Ink & Aqua. Each installation is a little moment of discovery as you wander through hotel lobbies, hallways, and rooms. MORE here

Lincoln Road Sculpture Walk

This pedestrian promenade turns into a free, open-air gallery during Art Week, featuring 14+ large-scale public installations. Highlights include a 20-foot bubblegum-pink inflatable “Mr. Pink” figure and sculptural works like XO World and Dream Machine. Experience this during the golden hour and each corner feels like a secret garden of art. MORE

Worthwhile Outliers

Some fairs & museums have great programming that requires more of a journey to experience, like these:

AfriKin Art Fair

Dates: Nov 30–Dec 7, 2025 · Location: North Miami – Maison AfriKin (Scott Galvin Community Center)
AfriKin’s 2025 theme — “Through Creation, We Find Meaning: Scenes From Home” — invites you into a world shaped by identity, ancestry, and lyrical storytelling. It blends art, performance, and knowledge-sharing into a warm, communal experience that feels more like a cultural homecoming than a fair.

Pinta Art Fair

Dates: Dec 3–7, 2025 · Location: The Hanger, Coconut Grove

The only fair specializing in and celebrating Latin American art, Pinta brings regional and international perspectives into one vibrant exhibition. (pintaartfair.com) As we’re planning on spending all of 2026 and maybe 2027 in Central and South America, we’re super excited to check this out for the first time!
